Make sure your postal address is correct !
When making an online purchase please ensure that your postal address is correct. This is a simple yet
easily overlooked task and it is probably one of the most vital, especially as you are expecting everything to turn up there!
So please make sure that your house number has the correct postal code, if this is wrong your parcel will not be delivered
and will be returned to us. If you are unsure about your postal code please do a quick check with Royal Mail online, this is a free service and doesn't take long.
You must also enter a house number; if this is not entered your parcel will be returned to us. (This excludes Southern Ireland as alot of rural houses do not have house numbers)
Failure to enter the correct details means your parcel will be returned to us by Parcel Force and you will incur postage and return charges.
If such an event does occur then we will contact you and discuss what is to be done with the items ordered.
Loss, Delay & Damaged Goods
Although Elliotts is responsible for shipping and making any claim for compensation for loss or delay on your behalf. In respect of any shipment, all goods leave us in appropriate packing material
and in a non-damaged state. Elliotts themselves will not accept liability for any claim for non delivery of goods or items deemed Broken in Transit, though will happily claim compensation or
replace goods where applicable via the appropriate carrier on your behalf.
A Signature Is Needed?
All parcels leave Elliotts with a tracking number and will need to be signed for. Please ensure that someone will be at the delivery address to sign for your goods. If you think you may not be at
home, may we suggest you change your delivery address to place of work or add a Special Instruction like a neighbours address, for example "if not in please leave with neighbours at number 14".
Otherwise Parcel Force will leave your parcel at the nearest Post Office a Customer Contact Card shall be left at your specified address.
Can You Leave An Item Without A Signature?
Many customers may wish us to leave the parcel at the delivery address with no signature if they are out. We are happy to do this just add a Special Instruction like “Please leave in garage” (You
have 50 characters to do so). By doing so you are happy for your parcel to be left on your property without a signature, this will be at your discretion at a place of your choice. For clarity and
within our anti-fraud policy, if any parcel is left without a signature, then Elliotts and the carrier disclaim any liability whatsoever for loss, damage or theft.

Order Cancellation: Pre-Shipment
If you wish to cancel an order or part order transaction before it is shipped,
please do so immediately via telephone. You will not be charged any penalty
whatsoever and your payment method will also be cancelled. If the order has been
picked and packed then the Post-Shipment cancellation will apply.

You may cancel your order up to 7 working days from receipt of your purchase.
You will be invited to return the goods in an unopened and unused state for

All goods purchased from Elliottsbelfast.com may be returned for refund
(excluding shipping) within 7 working days from receipt of delivery [*].
PLEASE NOTE Abuse of the above policy will lead
to you being blacklisted from our site.
We will happily refund or exchange it for
you. (You need to follow steps 1-3
and we suggest you read 4-10)
Items Exempt From Refund
PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately Due to
personal hygiene and/or nature: teeth, pants, tights/stockings, makeup, facial
hair and wigs cannot be returned, once opened, a sealed transparent pack cannot
be re-sealed. It is therefore important to note
that you check the costume you have bought fits
BEFORE opening this accessory product.
Before sending the parcel back to us, first please
contact us immediately via email or telephone. You will be asked for
the reason for the return plus whether the item has been used. In addition, you
will need to confirm your name and order number, so please have these available
if you telephone. You will need to include this information with your parcel
back to us as failure to do so may result in delay of any refund. May we please
ask you to additionally note:
- You must take care of our
goods whilst they are in your possession and any item for return must be
received back in its original shipped condition and original packing. The item
must be without damage or use and in a suitable condition for resale. All
original packaging should accompany any returned item. We cannot accept returns
for refund if such items have been opened from a sealed package (Costumes do not
typically come in sealed packages and you can try them on). All items will be
inspected on their return to our premises.
- We are not a manufacturer, so the whole product and packaging must be returned
as the same condition as you would have received it and how you may expect to
receive it. If the product or packaging is in any way missing or damaged, we
cannot refund.
- That you or your carrier are
responsible for any returned goods until they reach our premises. Cost and Risk
of return will be at your expense and we strongly recommend that you receive
proof of posting or use Royal Mail's "Recorded Signed" service.
- We regret that outbound shipping cannot be refunded
and if you are returning goods received using our offer of free postage over
£50.00 once your order value drops below this
amount you will be charged for the original postage.
- We are sorry but due to false promises in the past, we are unable to replace
an item until the original is returned to Elliotts. If you need an item in a
hurry, we suggest after contacting us you place a
second order for the new item and send the original back at a within 7 working
days.
- We try to make refunds within one week of receipt back to us though promise
to make all refunds within 30 calendar days from receipt of goods to our
premises. Please note that we will not be held liable for any interest payment
that you may incur because any refund was made outside of your credit/debit card
timescales.
- Please return the goods to the address on the top of your receipt/invoice
including your Name, Order number, Address and contact number. Any returned
items not including such information may well be delayed.

Any returned goods that we receive
which are outside of this Returns Policy will be defined as 'In Dispute'. Such
In Dispute items will not be refunded. A reason for this decision will be
provided. We are happy to re-ship such In Dispute items back to you, we will ask
for a nominal fee to cover additional shipping costs. Otherwise they will be
destroyed within 91 calendar days from their receipt back to us.
- Should an item be returned and received
after 7 calendar days, we will have no obligation to refund.

The refund policy does not include purchases made in our High Street shop. The
shop has its own refund policy that can be viewed in the shop before you make a
purchase.

defined as the date from when your shipment is received by you, being the date
of signature that the package is received by you.
Product Guarantee
We warrant that, upon receipt of goods, the ordered goods will correspond with
the written description on this website, will be free from defects in materials
and workmanship and will be of merchantable quality. There may, however, be
minor variations between the goods as shown or described on our website and
those dispatched to you (but so that the goods
dispatched will always be of a comparable or superior quality)
Returns Policy - Faulty Goods
Should a product be faulty, you should let us know immediately as we will
happily refund or exchange it for you. You should let us know as soon as
possible via email or telephone within 7 calendar days from the date of
delivery.

- We shall be under no liability in respect of any defect arising from fair
wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, abnormal working conditions, misuse or

- Please note most fancy dress costumes are made to be
worn a few times and are not meant for daily wear or theatrical use.
- Please return the goods to the address on the top of your receipt/invoice.
